I haven't forgotten my promise to post the week's classes!  Things have just been readjusting in my world.

As a part ( more will be revealed) of Building Blocks of Recovery and in order to buy a house, I have started making soap to sell. ( you can find it at www.thehousethatsoapbuilt.com or on Etsy)  I have been building webpages , social media , creating the soap and connecting with retail stores in hopes of securing a few wholesale accounts.

The other biggest change is that I disconnected the television. ( oh we still have streaming, it just makes it more of a challenge to "zone out", I have to be intentional about what I watch or if I do!)  I had no idea how much time I was spending at the television.

I have to tell you that I feel like I have been on an emotional detox .  Maybe I am now coming up for air!

The Ted Talk that I posted came up on my youtube " by accident".  My soul sang when I listened. For so many years, people have told me to toughen up, that people have to "walk on egg shells" around me and that I am "oversensitive".   After hearing my daily experiences in this talk, I finally feel like I can accept this part of me.  One more time, I am learning I am not broken, that my pieces fit together the way they do for a purpose.  ( and that my trying to "fit into" others definitions of how I should feel has been doing myself and the world a disservice!)

You know what I love about yoga?  This is one of the lessons that yoga has been trying to teach me all along....I am not broken.  I am perfect as I am to do that things that I was sent here to do.

If you are 'sensitive' as I am, please join me on the yoga mat.   I love spending time with "my people" and the community that has been built is lovely and strong.

And please, please, learn to love you just as you are!

And I will always see you as perfect , just as you are!
