Day 4 and a few hints and thoughts...

This is the salutation that I have chosen to start with.  Easiest on my fibro and working with the brain I have!  Thank you tummee.com for this post on Pintrest!

4 days , 108 sun salutations every day.

Proud, learning, getting stronger and feeling like I am no longer gonna take crap. Moving towards wanting to give up near 50, then I self care and massage my feet.  58 more are easy, feeling like the barrels of abundance open as I complete. Savasana clears my mind and is becoming easier again.  My fear and depression have lifted a little, anxiety still is reigning the day.

Every time so far.  Learning how to change and move in the sequence so that my breath can stay even, my mind can focus and my body can move without pain or fear of pain.

This is my hope for you.  If you are doing the challenge with us ( here is the link on the Facebook Event page)

Now that I am out of my thoughts, I have found it funny how many people are watching this.  Not participating, just watching.   It feels scary and good to be in the arena.  I am getting kicked, judged, and supported all at once.   I am physically feeling what it feels like in my life to get out of the cheap seats and to get messy.  Any one who has ever done body work of any kind knows that once you start working on the body, everything in the mind and emotions begins to shift and move, gets messy and reorganizes.   I feel like this is moving me out of my own cheap seats and into my life.

To ,my dear ones who are thinking of doing the challenge, you can join us at any time.  This is a difficult challenge for people to understand for one big reason,

there are no rules.

In our society, we are so used to measuring up and doing what we are told.  I am giving you permission to grow in this challenge as you will.  Do the salutations in the chair, do them as simple, mix the different kinds, do a moon or star salutation if you want to get a little wild!!!  It's about rising, rising to your best self.   Challenge YOU to do more, get out of the cheap seat in your own arena and try, believe!!!!

You can write to me at myrealbodyoga@gmail.com or on the event page.  I will help you find movements that help your body .                  ( remember I am not selling anything, I just love you and yoga!)

For the wonderful people taking the challenge, self care , self care, self care.  Hurting you is not what this is about, so listen, learn.  Here are the other lessons that have been shared:

* Day 4 can get better, the mind begins to know what is going on and becomes less resistant
*Notice if a part of your body starts to stand out to you and make the adjustment immediately. If your wrists hurt, go to forearms or change the pose completely.  If your feet hurt, stop and do a massage or small walk between salutations
* There is no time requirement. Take your time.
*You can do 50 sequences in the morning and 58 in the evening.   You can do 3 in one day and even skip a day.  No time requirement, no yoga police to come get you.  Just rejoin when you can.
* Make sure that you are using a pen and paper or some way of counting. It assists a sense of satisfaction to look at your work.
*The sun salutations that I am doing, I folded my mat over to a thickness of 4, helped so much!
* Take your savasana!  You have earned it and it is part of the sequence!
* Notice the changes in you and how you are feeling!  Check in with the challenge if you want more support!

You are loved, remember this is for you and for fun and growth.  Stay in the love and move gently.

Namaste
